We just picked up some Madam Glam polish and we were so excited to try this cat eye style. There is a little bit of art and a little bit of science to this technique. We love this shimmery style and can’t wait to try a full set.
The Cat Eye gel polish has little tiny, microscopic metal particals in the gel. Once you have it on, you need a magnet to wave over it to move the particles where you want them. We tried a few different types of magnets from around the house. The best results came from using our strongest magnet. It came from a set of magnets from Lakeshore Learning that are designed for children’s Science Experiments. So much for avoiding Science class this summer! :)
